The cabin is rental is only in one week intervals from Saturday to Saturday. The
season runs through, June, July, August, and September. Check in and check out are
on Saturdays at 10:00a.m. Obviously you may choose to leave earlier or arrive later as
you please.
Last season's renters will be given priority for their same week. All other weeks are a
first come first serve basis. For the 2009 season the rental for 4 or fewer people will
be $1,950 and for 5 or 6 people it will be $2,500. This rate includes the use of the
cabin, the boats, motors and all fuel. It does not include your airfare in to the cabin.

International Falls MN. You will need to drive due north from Duluth MN on US Hwy 53
about 110 miles to Route 23 in Orr MN. You take this road east to the town of Crane
Lake where you will pick up the float plane.

your arrival date to set your flight reservations. They can tell you the cost of the flight.

directly from the cabin to Crane Lake and clear US Customs there. As of 2007 you
must have a passport to fly over the US-Canadian border.

The cabin is remote and as of 2006 there was no cell service available in the area.
There is talk of a cell tower to be erected in Crane Lake for the summer of 2007 that
may possibly reach us but as of now we know of no service to our cabin. We do have
a Marine Band radio in the cabin that will reach Handbergs. This can be used in case
of an emergency at the cabin. For a home emergency your loved one can call
Handbergs at 807-485-2441 and they will send a plane in to pick you up.
